Milk Bar

What a great cookbook!! There is some great information in this book that can inspire a non baker or an experienced one. The photos are really cool and the pages are nice and glossy so you can get crap on it and just wipe it off. The detail and description are great; every recipe has ingredients in both grams/ounces and teaspoons/cups so you never have to convert. She even goes into great detail about every ingredient she uses and what companies make the best chocolate or cake flour-or whatever it may be- for her recipes. The anecdotes and little pointers and tips along the way make this not only a great cook book but also a great book to sit down and read and dream and then go spend tons of money at the grocery store. I suggest that. Definitely get this book and buy two copies because once you get into it you'll want to share the awesome with your friends.

The Maple Pecan Cookies were super easy and delish!!! The Mango Drink was a great pick-me-up! And the Pumpkin Gooey Butter Cake was to die for!! The Lemon Bars were super easy and the best Lemon bars I have ever made.

My daughter loved the Craft Night Sleep-Over section in the book.

I love the simple recipes. The pictures are just beautiful! This is a book I will come back to again and again!!

                                                                                                  by Erin McKenna

Another great cookbook I couldn't put down. I like how its gluten-free. The recipes are simple and easy to make. Besides the yummy bread, I loved the snack section. The oat crackers were simple to make. Oh, and oh-so-good to eat!! The Kale Chips were another hit. Never made those before. I'm a huge hummus fan, so making the hummus in this cookbook was even better then the way I used to make it. And the Lemon Sugar Cookies were sooooo good!!!!

The English muffins, Rye Bread, Croissants and Pain au Chocolate were simple and easy to make. Tasted even better!!!

I love how simple the recipes are. The pictures in this book are beautiful! I would recommend this cookbook to everyone.

Cookie Love

                                                                                        Cookie Love

Love this book!! I was excited when I received this cookbook. I'm a huge baker and cookies are one of my favorite things to bake. This cookbook has a huge list of cookies to bake! Some I would never think to make myself. I even loved the nice selection of bars to make.

We loved the Barter Brownies and the Honey Walnut Bars. I even made the Toffee...and I never thought I would be one to make that. As far as the cookies go, the Hot Fudge Thumbprints were so good and easy to make!!! My kids loved those. The Leopard Print cookies were fun to make and so good to eat! Even better!

This is a cookbook I will come back to again and again! The recipes are super easy and fun to make. Not just because I'm a baker, these recipes are great! I would recommend this book to everyone. Loved it!!!
